Wine designed by Anne to contradict the idea of the structured wines, powerful and with a lot of wood, that people had about Priorat wines. So here you will find a fresh, fruity wine, with little wood and extraction. A wine for every day.

THE WINES

This wine came as a surprise to the owners as they believed they had planted red grapes, but it turned out that the vineyard nursery was wrong with the vines and sent Viognier instead of Cabernet Sauvignon.

It is a Mediterranean wine by the Garnacha Blanca, with many fruity aromas thanks to the Viognier and a present acidity by the touch of Chenin Blanc.

It is a classic Priorat wine, with a very good balance between red and black fruits, with a mineral touch that reminds us of its origin and with aromas of Mediterranean herbs.

With strains from 60 to 80 years old, this "elixir" reflects the minerality and typicality of the Priorat. Elaborated with the autochthonous varieties of Garnacha and Cariñena.

It is our last creation, the idea is to make a sweet red that is not cloying and that has a lot of freshness. This 100% Garnacha Tinta marries very well with dark chocolate, blue cheese, foie ...

Bought in 1997 by Charlotte and Christopher Cannan. The initial vinification was made in Clos Mogador and from 2002 in their own Gratallops winery.

Today the winery produces three red wines and a white wine of international fame.

The wines are found in the best restaurants and prestigious stores in Spain and 23 countries throughout the world.

Since 2011 the winery is organized for wine tourism having a restaurant and rooms.

The vineyard is located north of Gratallops overlooking the mountains of Montsant and the Ebro Valley and the Montsant River embroiders us.

Having the shape of an amphitheater we have all orientations, we are 400 m above sea level, very poor floor of "llicorella", it is composed of slate Gresosa and Slate very laminated and very brittle.

Mediterranean and continental climate with long, hot and dry summers, mild temperature, winter although some years may snow. The micro-climate is important for us since we are located in a corridor where air arrives from the Ebro Valley and also from the sea.

Organic viticulture since 1997 but certified since 2014.
